  1. Rob, I think I am bailing due to a lot of work and less than great weather. I was going to bring the stickers at 3 for the potluck. Would you rather I drive out this morning to drop them off? Nancy
  2. Since no one has responded with first hand experience, I'd say ask your doctor. I would suggest by starting "small" with gentle marsh paddles, when you do decide you are ready to get out there..., and move to more challenging as you feel ready (after Dr.'s advice, of course).
  3. Great pics, Doug. Looks like a great day. Sorry I missed it, but empty nest-dom is coming next year...
  4. Spoke too soon yesterday. Too much going on at the homestead today, so think I need to pass. Looks like a great forecast -- have a great time...
  5. Thanks Gene. I have been confused on this for a long time, too, and probably missed events from Odiorne because of it.
  6. So how was last night? Sorry to have missed that one, since it was the perfect late spring evening...
  7. First sunset pic from the "bend" with completed turbine.
  8. This is great! I am truly in "awe" of you racing people and love to hear of a strong woman. Congrats to you both.
  9. Congrats you guys!!! Hey my BF Hal got a one day JP "permit" in MA and performed a ceremony this past weekend on the cape. I helped write the ceremony. I would do it for you if such a thing is available in NH or where-ever you are planning to do it LOL. Seriously, maybe you can look in to it for your state with someone who is a close friend -- but consider my offer as a back-up. Sounds fun. Best wishes to you both.
  10. I have a cape wedding to attend on the 15th, but I can hopefully do the second session. Boo and yea!
  11. Had the date as Sat. in my head. Will try to be there, though... Thanks. Nancy
  12. Yes, thank you John and organizers. It was great. Nancy
  13. I am wondering about the impact on marine life. Haven't had the "pleasure" of seeing a disk yet, but hoping they don't end up in any digestive systems, etc...
  14. That is definitely not the news I wanted to hear... But thanks for letting us know.
  15. Link to story about the disks in The Salem News: http://www.salemnews.com/local/x449494935/Disks-found-on-beaches-in-Beverly I was out in the Ipswich marsh this morning. No disk sightings... It was beautiful.
  16. All the best to the growing family!

  18. Per Spider's earlier post, Pavilion Beach is closed and clased to parking too. I heard they just opened some clam beds this week, but as of last night beach still had bright orange signs by order of Ipswich Health Department. I was hoping to go out for a couple hours this week during warm weather if it isn't windy. Does anybody have updated info on the status of NH and MA beaches? And what's Lane's Cove like these days after the damage, etc.? Thanks, Nancy
  19. Oh, I just found out date was changed -- forgot to check on that. I can still come and plan to. Something sweet I will bring...
  20. Sounds great. Can't wait to get out, myself.
  21. That is a riot. Sorry about throwing you my babble at the end LOL. Yeah, Doug is mud if I were you...
  22. I wasn't planning on this, but after reading the description, I might try to come. Will respond later tonight as to yes or no. Thanks, Bob, for putting it together. Nancy
  23. Thanks, that is so cool to watch, and helpful, too. Hope I can make it down there to paddle sometime.
