  1. Walter is without e-mail currently. He will be back online this summer. Walter can't go sat. But his place is a great location to launch from. -Jason
  2. If the trip doesn't leave too early I would like to attend. Thanks -Jason[/center.
  3. I just called and they said that the water temp is in the mid 50's. -Jason
  4. Thanks for the link I called and they are closing it at 7:30 PM. Durring the fall the closing time kept on moving earlier until there was no point in heading over after work.
  5. Does anybody know how late the boat ramp is being kept open at Walden Pond? I am hoping to start get some time on the water after work. :-) Thanks -Jason
  6. Al created the sign, I just put it on the server and a few location. Al did the hard work.
  7. I was turned away from a lot of trips while waiting for my suit to be made for me... Was a long 3 or4 moths waiting as nobody would paddle with me. I had a farmer john and a dry top but I wasn't allowed as I would be putting the group at risk. -Jason
  8. It seems that my Icom HM-125 speaker/Mic modification didn't work 100%. After the 1st and only trip it leaked a little (salt water). I found out that it leaked as the transmit is now stuck on. I removed the water that I could then I have left it open to air dry. Should I wash it with distilled water or will that make things worse? Thanks -Jason
  9. >A clickable link for the same [A href=http://wavelengthmagazine.com]wavelengthmagazine.com[/A] From this [A href=http://wavelengthmagazine.com/2006/am06.pdf]Issue [/A] The bottom of Page 11 has a type-o it should be: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PSPN/ Also the Sean from page 12 to page 14 is not Sean Kimball but another person. -Jason
  10. If soneone will e-mail it to me. I will post it in REI Framingham and EMS Fraimgham and possibly some other stores. -Jason

From reading the trip reports, it sounds like if Adam and Mark go fishing Adam would get one and Mark would end up with two. Mark possibly doing a rolling landing the fish under water and coming up with the original fish and the new fish. Could be another great trip report.

Mark I for one very much appreciate the stories that you post on the message board. Every time I read about one of your great adventures I think that I would like to do that one day. So please keep posting even if they are up for a couple of days. We will just have to read fast. Thanks -Jason

    >Since its come up I am curious why it matters once the >material has been publicly disclosed. If this was a patent >matter, the disclosure of the material to be patented in any >public forum makes its patent invalid. > >Let's see Dr. Casey answer that one... Bob are you thinking of trade secrets? As once trade secrets are discussed in public they are no longer secrets. Patents and patent applications are entered into public record. This allows us to see the crazy items that people attempt to patent such as this: http://www.cellular-news.com/story/15792.php or another classic application would be this one: http://patentlaw.typepad.com/patent/2006/0...equests_mo.html -Jason

it seems that a lot of history is being removed. :-( Care to give a hint on why? Thanks -Jason
  15. I have removed the clip from my Icom HM-125 speaker/Mic. As the current clip wasn't effective. I have a MB-88 swivel clip that I am going to remove the ears then epoxy it to the back of the MH-125. Now that I have the parts, the old clip has been removed. I need to know what epoxy to use to put it together. Thanks -Jason
  16. Suz thanks for the generous offer! That sounds like a good July/August adventure. It took so so long to get my custom sized suit I think that, I will tough out this season and not chance having to send it back now. I know that the side that you do will be fine. Its the side that I cut will need factory repair. My wife took care of the neck gasket, thus it was fine. I was hoping that she could slice the wrist ones too. Thanks -Jason
  17. Any experience with trimming wrist gaskets? The neck has been great since it was trimmed. My hands are now my issue. Thanks -Jason
  18. How much air do you still have trapped in your dry suit? I find that if I waid into the water and pull a gasket that's above the water it will remove most of the air. When I am vacumed packed in this way I feel like I stay cooler in my dry suit. -Jason
  19. Mark after reading Ken's post I found this boat: http://www.westsideboatshop.com/html/Kayak...ing/Bullitt.htm This boat could get your Martha’s Vineyard circumnavigation done in a day. The bigest issue I see whith that boat is only 20" wide so I can't fit in the boat. -Jason
  20. It seems that the sign-up for the NH AMC Spring WW school is still open. http://www.nhamcpaddlers.org/events_school...oe_and_kaya.htm Everybody at NSPN that I have talked with that has taken this class has had nothing but good things to say about the class. Getting WW skills are supposed to help your long boat skills especially in rough water. -Jason
  21. Anybody getting one of these for the blackburn? It would be nice to see one of these in action.
  22. I was looking at GPS Map 76csx is a new one: It floats. Is IPX7 Takes micro SD cards. Built in Electronic compass Barometric altimeter with automatic pressure trend recording. Supports Blue chart charts. Suport transfers over USB instead of a serial port. http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsmap76csx/ -Jason
  23. If anybody is looking to do the blackburn in class "4. Touring Kayaks A" and needs someone to paddle the course with them a few times let me know. I like going out on the longer trips but I am not currently intrested in racing the Blackburn. Thanks -Jason
  24. As for hosting it i have a server with bandwidth available and would be glad to host it. To make the site look nice it would take someone with a good eye for html (Like Billy) to create a slick set of pages for it. -Jason
