David M Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Huge congrats are in order for Joe Berkowitz who recently successfully assessed for the British Canoe Union's (BCU) Sea Kayak Leader (formerly 4*) award . The award is no "gimme". The candidate is assessed over a two day period against a range of factors including: trip planning , personal paddling skills, rescue and scenario management and leadership. Not to mention, this was done in a pandemic! I've personally benefitted from Joe's leadership skills and superb trip planning. Congratulations Joe! Quote
