  1. Jim, I am planning on joining! I just signed up on your sheet. Cheers!
  2. It was fun last year. Please count me in as well. Perhaps will make it a bit longer again....
  3. I did a solo camping trip in June 2021 in the area. Launched from the AMC cabin area, where I left the car and pitched my tent one night at Beale Island and the second at Powderhorn. It was during the week, only one other camper at Beale and no one at the cabin, which was closed. I paid AMC for camping at Beale and that gave me the right to leave the car at the cabin, I think there were plenty of space for parking. Did both lower and upper hell gates but not the circumnavigation of Georgetown Is. It was my first camping trip in Maine. Count me in. Beautiful area.
  4. Hi Mike! It sure looks like the one I lost. Wow... I did not think I will see it again. On October 11, 2022, having launched from Winter Island, I met Sue and Joe at Grace Oliver and together we paddled to Halfway Rock. On the way back we stopped to eat at North Gooseberry where I believe I lost the belt. That day I found a gaffer hook that was claimed by a lobsterman and an intact can of hard seltzer which I used to drown my sorrows for losing the belt. I went back twice the following week to to N. Gooseberry to try to find it. Now it shows up on West Beach. Excellent! Thank you.

  14. Yes, great paddle. Thank you Prudence for organizing! Here is the pic of part of the group with the injured seagull on top of Sue's boat. From the shore it looked like it was an overconfident bird looking for a handout! Beautiful day!
