The forecast looks pretty benign.
Anyone interested in a change in route? How about Gloucester harbor to Braces Cove? That would allow us to watch the moon rise over the ocean. Liz
Hi,
There aren't any directions to Gloucester Harbor on the "Put-Ins" page. Could/would someone provide directions and Christopher are we changing launch sites?

Hi Jason,
I have the DVD and would be happy to let you borrow it.
I'm sure we can make arrangements through Suz or any of the Walden Pond crew. I ma be at Walden Pond the week of the 21st as well.

Hi Jeff,
WELCOME!
Suz directed you to a great list. It can be overwhelming especially if you thought all you would need is a boat, paddle and PFD The lake sessions are great as are some of the other paddles.
Have fun!

Cod End
Tenant's Harbor, ME
way far away but oh so good, and if you are there in the AM the blueberry muffins are pretty good as well.

And I'm sure there is a lot of stuff I need!

I will be there as well!

oops, I can't make it this Sunday but I will be there on the 29th, after I carefully consult the weather, tides, current, wind and forecast. :-)

I just rejoined NSPN after several years of paddling with just my husband, and I'd like to introduce myself. My husband recently passed away (Don Perry--if anyone remembers him), so I am looking forward to getting back out on the ocean this year. Because of Don's illness, we never took the kayaks out of storage last year. I have an Impex Currituck that misses the ocean very much, as do I.
I'll thank everyone in advance for your patience because I'm sure I am very rusty at this point!

I am sorry to hear of your loss.
Welcome back to NSPN and to paddling. "Rusty" infers that you had skills ~ I am sure they'll come back in no time.
I'm looking forward to meeting you,

Huh, I was wondering what all those disks were... They are all littered over the northern tip (on the river side) of Plum Island and all along the basin.

Thank you John, and thanks to everyone. Looking forward to a great season!

I will be there as well, thanks!

Hi,
Sorry, I will not be joining you on Sunday. I banged my leg up today and it still hurts, I can't straighten or flex completely. Have fun all. See you at the holiday party

Way cool!

Hi, I think I left my favorite travel mug at Gould Barn. Did anyone happen to see it or pick it up? Or who can I contact at the Barn to see if I can claim it?
Thanks,
Katherine
Thank you to the two gallant gentlemen who helped return my mug!
