If anyone sees this message, please clarify if Pavilion and the meeting point are north of gloucester center or south? Gene's message seems to indicate it is north however I thought it was south of the downtown, near the Gloucester fisherman statue. thanks for any help. shari

ed, I am very interested, but will have to wait until closer to commit. i am on vacation in maine that week (great luck) and won't have internet access. is there any way I can connect with someone by cell phone just to check in and verify details etc and make final commitment?? thanks. shari

I would also love to join in. Timing and location is great. I also need to be back by around 3pm. I will be on site at Pavilion around 9:30am. could someone give me more specifics on how to find "pavilion/greasy pole" or is it posted on the website? any parking glitches to be aware of? thanks! shari

You can rent kayaks out of Discovery Adventures in Lanesville in Gloucester. That is a great spot to start out from.... you are across the bay from cranes beach and there are tons of gloucester and rockport coves to explore. their website is: discoadventures.com . good luck!

Kevin, I might be able to join you tonight. Having never paddled with you or in that harbor, what conditions/skill level should I expect? I am an intermediate paddler but not a speed demon. I have a 17'shenai/wilderness systems sea kayak. Shari -
Hi Daniel, I am in Wenham and would be interested in joining all of you. I'm an intermediate paddler, but happy to get out on the water with any group.
