Hi Doug, Unfortunately, we're not going to be able to make today's trip. I'm disappointed, bucause it appears to be a perfect day to be on the water. We're going to try to meet up with the group doing out tomorrow from Cape Ann. Thanks.

We've been paddling for about 10 years or so. Pretty casual - mostly costal and big lakes. We've been out of plum island and Ipswich and really love to go out in Casco Bay, Maine in and around the Bath area. We've paddled with a couple friends from time to time, but not in a group. We are looking new places to go and are looking forward to meeting new people too.Waves are great, but we're a little wary of rocks and rough seas. Since we've never done this paddle before, how long of a trip to you estimate?

Does anyone know where we can rent a couple of kayaks in or close to Essex. We have friends who want to join us for a paddle going out of Essex this weekend (August 3 or 4). We contacted ERBA, but they will not rent without joining their tour. We don't wish to be pinned down to a specific schedule.
