  1. Mark I for one very much appreciate the stories that you post on the message board. Every time I read about one of your great adventures I think that I would like to do that one day.

So please keep posting even if they are up for a couple of days. We will just have to read fast.

    Thanks -Jason

Bob are you thinking of trade secrets? As once trade secrets are discussed in public they are no longer secrets.

Patents and patent applications are entered into public record.

This allows us to see the crazy items that people attempt to patent such as this:

or another classic application would be this one:

  3. I have removed the clip from my Icom HM-125 speaker/Mic. As the current clip wasn't effective.

I have a MB-88 swivel clip that I am going to remove the ears then epoxy it to the back of the MH-125.

Now that I have the parts, the old clip has been removed. I need to know what epoxy to use to put it together.

    Thanks -Jason

  4. Suz thanks for the generous offer!

That sounds like a good July/August adventure.

It took so so long to get my custom sized suit I think that, I will tough out this season and not chance having to send it back now. I know that the side that you do will be fine. Its the side that I cut will need factory repair.

My wife took care of the neck gasket, thus it was fine. I was hoping that she could slice the wrist ones too.

    Thanks -Jason

  5. How much air do you still have trapped in your dry suit?

I find that if I waid into the water and pull a gasket that's above the water it will remove most of the air. When I am vacumed packed in this way I feel like I stay cooler in my dry suit.

  6. My understanding is the terminal in Everett is owned by a different company than the one that is looking to put a terminal on the Outer Brewster.

Even if the terminal is built on Outer Brewster the LNG tankers will still go to the terminal in Everett.

If this is an energy use topic I suggest the we have this thread focus on the following:

    Wind Mills.

    Residential Co-generation.

    Bio Diesel.

    Synthetic Diesel from Coal.

  7. [pre]

I would like to be penciled into a spot for Sunday the 26th (If the spots are filled up I should be bumped before someone else is put on the waiting list).

I will be in DC for work the 23 though the 25th and 80% chance of heading back on on the 25th.

For my boat (Nigel Foster shadow), I would like to fix my skeg.

Create a spot under the deck for my hand pump. (Brian can I purchase the clips for this from you?).

And if the ventilation is up for it I would like to:

    Repair my gelcoat.

Remove the remainder of my foot pump by:

    Fiberglass my bulkhead

    Fiberglass my deck.

    putting gelcoat on my deck.

    Thanks -Jason

  8. Does it cover the back deck roll?

On the newfound web site this is the description:

    "

1st Roll DVD by Jay Babina (designer of the Outer Island kayak, $29.95) Learning the Eskimo roll is every kayaker's dream from the moment they venture out on their first paddling experience. The idea of bringing yourself upright from a capsize is not only unique to the design of the kayak but remains one of the utmost safety skills that the sea kayaker can learn. "1st Roll" demonstrates a simplified approach to learning the extended paddle roll, which is the easiest style roll to learn for beginners. 43 minutes.

    "

I don't see any mention of the back deck roll.

    Thanks -Jason

Bob that would be great, I need the help!

I keep attempting but I still have had no luck. I am going to China Town on the 11th and I am thinking of signing up for Ipswitch on the 18th. Will you be going to eather of these pool sessions?

    Thanks -Jason

  10. >Thank you Great video.

    >Jason have you tried

    >the back deck sweep roll yet?

    >Walter

    >Impex Assateague

I have attempted a couple of times but I haven't been able to do it yet.

I just found another source in the Canoeing Handbook (2nd edition) Page 328 has a good ilistration. I think that I will atempt it again after work tomarrow.
