  4. We did have an issue with the Gallery. It is all fixed now.
  5. We had just upgraded the Gallery software late last week, so apparently there is an issue we need to work out. Bear with me as I try to resolve this or roll back to the old version. Stay tuned.
  6. Actually, Verizon FIOS has a very aggressive DHCP scheme that changes your IP very frequently. After a quick search on your username and IP address, I have found at least 6 different IP's for you in the last few days. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to adjust our message board software to accommodate you without out compromising it's security features.

  8. Al, Are you coming in from different IP's. I have noticed that when I take my laptop on the road and come to the site, it does not log me in. However, when i am at home coming in from the same static IP, it always logs me in automatically.
  9. I had the Pentax Optio W30, good camera until I closed it in the car door. I replaced it with the Olympus 770SW that seems to be a little better built and able to withstand my harsh treatment. Image quality between the two seems to be comparable. Now, if I were currently in the market for something new, and video was a priority, with the ability for 6 megapixel stills. I would seriously consider the new waterproof SANYO Xacti E1 camcorder. I haven't seen one in person yet, but it does look pretty cool. http://www.sanyodigital.com/e1.aspx
  10. Another "trick" for those that can't seem to master the art of slowly exhaling through their nose, is to hum. If you hum a tune with your mouth closed, the air will slowly come out your nose.
  11. Seriously contemplating it....You???
  12. QUOTE(Kevin B @ Sep 14 2007, 02:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thinking about York and heading north. Anyone interested? http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1318162 I've done that paddle. York Harbor has a decent launch. On street parking should be OK now that it's basically off season. Heading North as you have suggested brings you along Long Beach and past the Nubble. If you head South towards Gerrish, it will provide you with a more rocky coastline with some boomers to play around if there is swell. Also, the mouth of the York River can be a fun spot if there is any swell.
  13. I also have some pics up at: http://www.kayakpics.com/gallery/downeast2007
  14. You can order the gel from Impex and the color will probably be a pretty close match, or, you could just get white gel and pigments from NESC and try your hand at matching it yourself. Either way, it most likely will not be a perfect match. Also Brad at NESC should be able to give you some advise on mixing, matching and masking.
  15. The simple test is the "Thumb" test. If the glass is easily compressed or if it feels squishy (a technical term) with your thumb, then it needs to be repaired. You can also kinda dig around with a sharp object as you are removing the cracked gel coat to look for soft spots. You can paddle it in the mean time especially if it's just gel coat damage, but keep in mind that it will need to be completely dried out before the repair can be done.
  16. I got some pics..Actually Heidi got some pics with my camera. Here they are.
