How many times have you wondered about what creatures lurk in the depths beneath your kayak? We have all seen seals sunning themselves on the rocky ledges. How many species of seals live in, or occasionally pass through, the Gulf of Maine? What are the most common whales passing through our waters?
The Board of Directors invites you to join us for a Zoom presentation by a Marine Biologist from the NH Seacoast Science Center’s Marine Mammal Rescue Team. The main focus of the presentation will be Marine Mammals in the Gulf of Maine and how climate change is impacting life in these waters.
When - Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 7:00pm
Where - Anywhere you have an internet connection and can log into Zoom
This presentation will be approximately 30 - 45 minutes, with an opportunity for questions.
The Marine Mammal presentation will be followed by an open discussion with possible topics to include past and future trips, skills sessions, and off the water events such as seminars and social events. Bring your ideas.
