Hello all,
Please send me your foot plan info by Friday.
Be sure to include:
Your name:
Cell # or best # to reach you Sunday AM
Emergency contact name and #
Boat (make, model & color)
And, if I haven't paddled with you recently please let me know your skill, comfort and experience level.
We will park behind the Chamber Of Commerce building on Commercial Street in Gloucester. Not in the Chamber's lot but the one beside it. It will all become apparent when you see it.
Be ready to go by the beach briefing @ 10:30.
Looking forward to paddling with all y'all.
PSSST... remember to RSVP through the Calendar

Hi,
Although the details are in my head it seems that I have not posted them yet ~ sorry!
Be ready to go by the beach briefing @ 10:30, launch @ 11:00 in Gloucester (specific details to follow), meander down the coast to the beach in Magnolia, have lunch, wander back up, load boats and find ice cream.

Hi Ann,
Because the trip is on the ocean it is a L3 trip.
If you would like to call me we can talk about your skill level and possible risks. (978-356-5818).

I stopped by last Monday but you were closed :-)

Hi,
Save the date! Details to follow but we will probably launch late morning. Thinking about launching from Gloucester (greasy pole) and meandering down the coast.
Please RSVP through the Calendar if you know you want to attend or wait until the details are worked out.
Thanks and hope to see you!

Warren, I find it impossible for me to let sleeping bears lay....
At the Paddlesport show a few weekends ago I attended a lecture by a woman who has paddled extensively in Alaska. Her advice was if you are going to shoot at a bear (mind you, she wasn't advocating shooting at the bear) that one should shoot the GROUND in front of the bear and that would scare s/he away.
Hope that's helpful and that you come back safe and sound and the bear population did not decrease,

Yes, it was wonderful! Many thanks to those that gave up one of the few nice days we have seen in a while to educate us.
-
Good News! I am happy for you; do we know this 5th person?
-
Looking forward to it! Thank you, Scott.
-
Will do, Dave, probably Sunday night
-
Hmmm.... what does "organizer" involve? I would consider being a "co-organizer"...
-
Hi,
Sorry, but I will not be able to attend the workshop.
-
So... it sounds as though you are going to go to the bear's home, go into his/her living room, set up camp and then shoot the bear if it is uncomfortable with you being in his/her home, is that accurate?
