  1. I have several extra skirts all Seals 1.7 you could try but I'm way up here in NH.
  2. Please be aware that I'm among the least experienced of those likely to weigh in here. That being said, mine would never come off if I didn't push forward first. Also I don't know what others do but I always use two hands. If I'm coming out I want it to be fast. I think I hold my paddle with one of those hands but I'm not sure, maybe I pin it while getting free.
  3. I don't know if this helps but I will be at Nahant tomorrow with a Seals 1.7. I also have an older spare you could borrow.
  4. This was a great program for anyone wanting to move to an ocean experience in a SAFE and informed way. Thanks to all the organizers and participants!
  5. Yes, without the date of the paddle in the title it wasn't clear, at least to me. I just paddled out of Odiorne on Sunday past and could see going again. Forecast conditions look bigger than this last Sunday which was pretty quiet but still fairly mild.
  6. I would be interested. The date in this post is confusing though since it refers to yesterday, maybe that's just me.
  7. Has anyone installed one of these as a little forward day hatch? Seems like cutting the deck could be high drama...
  8. I'm planning on being there. I can bring a full second set of everything if you want me to.
  9. Rob, sadly I'm out due to a schedule conflict. Have a great time!
  10. Depending on location, I might be in...
  11. I've been planning on ordering this gasket and fastener kit to replace the screws holding my compass. I don't like the idea of seawater trapped under it. http://topkayaker.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10_35&products_id=1309
  12. I'm in New Hampshire also and would like to find people to paddle with, both in the salt water and in the lakes when they thaw out. My skills are similar to Steven's.
