  1. Brambor, I'm intersted in your Piccolo. What's the condition like? Any tears in the seat? Float bags? Email or Pm me ryan dot dee at earthlink dot net
  2. Jim, It's a complete shame that we all need to be concerned about theft, but I can't say I'm surprised. I've always advised my customers to buy locks (I saw your system was "locked"). This one of the few cases where I heard of someone taking the system w/o a bike, boat, skis etc. Blows. As Sal mentioned, check your insurance policy. It couldn't hurt to give a shout to the local PlayItAgain and watch Craigslist. You've already replaced the rack but it'd be damn satisfying to catch the thief. I'd like to say that the racks I sell offer better security but I think we all know that nothing is truly theft proof. It just depends on how committed the thief is.
  3. Nice pictures guys. I had a bunch of fun out there. Scott I really like #14 of Doug in the sunset. -Ryan
  4. My Tuesday schedule has just freed up. I've been watching these surf reports w/ interest. Where are you launching from? I plan to be there tonight. Ryan
  5. Lookin good out there. Jealous.
  6. Long Sands has some good surf when the waves are right. It is a very gentle beach. LONG walk to the water at Low tide. Short Sands is to the north around the point from Nubble Light, steeper and more dumping but not bad. The surf zone restrictions are active only when the lifeguards are there and it's primarily to give the swimmers plenty of space. Now that the swimmers are gone, have at it. From my experience with LS, the better waves tend to be on the north and south ends of the beach, less in the middle. I usually park to the south end. I don't use the bath houses so I don't know what the fall hours are. Parking meters are usually pulled shortly after Labor day. I haven't been in down there in a few weeks so I don't know if there still up. What I like about LS is if the waves are small I can launch the long boat and head up and around the Nubble or over to Short sands to play in the reflecting waves. Ryan
