Great surfing conditions tonight and a great ride by Sal. The point of view is a little far away but this video shows Sal's impressive ride (rolling while continuing to ride a wave). Here is a link to the video... Please watch it in full screen mode.

Hi Gene - Unfortunately it wasn't all that thought out. This is the start of my second season kayaking and I don't have a roll. Everything that might look like a roll was actually a wet exit ( I must have done an ok job of editing ). I don't think the force was that great and if I actually knew what I was doing I'm sure I would have successfully braced out.

There was a third swimmer in this group (8 or 9 year old boy) who listened to direction well and was towed to shore safely by grabbing my stern toggle. I credit the CAM at Odiorne this year on knowing how to handle this situation. If it weren't for learning what I did at the CAM I'm not sure if it would have gone the same way. Shockingly the mother of this boy did not seem to look for him or show any concern.

Count me in!
