  1. Hey....i cannot get ANY email through to you now... do you have another email account i could send the transcript throug to you at??? corgimas (at) gmail.com or rbanks (At) asri.org working those chotas off you now....9 emails that bounced rob
  2. I know that the guys up at Mad River Rocket ( a sled that use c-1 style) use those chotas as sledding boots since they are so flexible....and warm too...
  3. The tarp that i carry now is the Dana Designs Hat Tarp. http://tinyurl.com/sbouj a tarp that has a zip running around the perimeter...string it up like a tarp when needed off of a tree and a couple of paddles... OR zip it up-it folds in half like a taco.....1 side is folded material...two sides are zip...third side is open....climb inside...space for two people....waterproof fabric keeps you warm and dry.... this might be helpful too: http://www.hilleberg.com/Catalog/bivanorak_4846109.htm
  4. the sparrow is still there.... i wish that i had grabbed the arctic hawk that was there....missed it....but there is a bahiya if you are looking for a HARD chine! not much has changed there in the last month....just the boats are leaving...no real big push to sell the gear off.... rob
  5. anyone up for a ride to RI for a good deal!!!! i just found this...http://tinyurl.com/y4kgk3 heading over there at lunch today to peek in.....
  6. i wear an immersion research thick skin union suit under the dry suit....nice...warm....fuzzy on the inside...smooth on the outside...and the best part: NO ZIPPERS!! entry and exit is gained through a special neoprene neck that is able to stretch over my belly and the shrink back to normal size...love it...the IR guys wear them skiing all winter long too.....highly breathable! i also have the shorty thin skin version for warmer weather paddling....because it is one piece there is no ride-up at the back band and your shirt.... the cag that you really want to have: a storm cag or seal suit....NDK GRO and seakayakingusa.com all make them..... heavy duty...pull on over your entire kit...wired brim on the hood...lots of reflective stuff..big ol pocket onthe front....packs small....great! just pull it on over your entire kit when needed...then the long front of it pops onto the cockpit coaming like a skirt....helps to shed water off of a cold body.... these also work well when pulling up for lunch and you want to keep the sun off your legs.... note- i have not swam yet wearing my storm cag so i am not certain how the cag skirt might interfere while in the water.... mine lives in the day hatch right at hand-takes about 30 seconds to pull it on... thief
