Jeff Charette
The Kayak Center of Rhode Island sells VCP hatch covers. You can order online and they will ship to you.Coastal Maine Kayak is a Valley dealer so they will most likely also sell replacement hatch covers. EEL
I have not been there for awhile, but New England Small Craft in Rowley has always been my go to place for stuff like hatch covers and things hard to find generally. The conversation to go with the sale always worth the trip as well. I trust it is still the valuable resource it has been.Contoocook River Canoe and Kayak also has Valley hatch covers for sale.Ed Lawson Edited March 30, 2014 by EEL

Brian Nystrom
I don't know about the negative reviews you've seen, but I've got a Sealect round cover on one of my boats and it's vastly superior to Valley covers. It goes on and off much easier in ANY temperature, but still seals tightly, stays put and it won't rot over time. It was also less expensive, which certainly doesn't hurt. Valley is long overdue to change to a more durable material (like Kajaksport has has been using from the beginning) and I refuse to subsidize their stubbornness any longer. All of my replacements going forward will be Sealect covers.
NateHanson
I like the Sealect covers for my large ovals, but for day hatches I like the OE Valley covers better. It's easier to get the Valley cover on and off the day hatch with one hand.
