JanetL Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Planning a paddle from Odiorne this Saturday 9/5, with intention to circumnavigate Gerrish counter-clockwise (HT 1:58pm), weather permitting (looks great right now). 9:45am launch, likely a stop at Wood Island to look at the Coast Guard building, then a stop at Brave Boat harbor for lunch. Require 14 foot+ boat with deck lines/flotation, weather appropriate clothing, and a mask to wear at launch. Bring a helmet if you want to play in the rocks please. Make your parking reservations early! ($5 online) https://www.nhstateparks.org/visit/state-parks/odiorne-point-state-park Please post interest here and PM me if we haven't paddled together before. Limit 10 paddlers. Thanks!

eneumeier Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 I just booked my parking space. See you Saturday. Liz
eneumeier Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 I have not made a parking reservation before, It looks like it is for the park, not the launch site. Does that matter? Liz
NPearson Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Hi Janet, room for 2 more? Ali and I are up for joining thanks Nick
JanetL Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 Given that we will have 3 carpools, I think 12 is fine. Trip is officially full now though :).
jwhipple Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Possible to put me on the waiting list? Judy
eneumeier Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Judy can take my place. I had an accident with my kayak/car and can't go. Anyone know the best place to get a carbon kayak repaired? Liz
JanetL Posted September 5, 2020 Author Posted September 5, 2020 Oh no! Sorry Liz. Judy we are actually oversold but hope to catch you again in the future.
eneumeier Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I spoke to Judy so she knows and will paddle later.
