josko Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 (edited) Tides and wind forecasts are ideal for a jaunt down the Elizabeths this weekend. Going around Naushon from Woods Hole is a 20 mile trip. If you're up to a 20 miler, it's a pretty trip. There'll be a ~2 knot current push all the way back. Still, it's a Level 4 trip by NSPN standards (distance). My default will be solo fitness paddles both days, but I'll adapt to the pace of the group if folks show up. If wind kicks up stronger than we'd like, we can go partway down Naushon to Kettle cove or West beach, and surf home. Edited June 24, 2020 by josko
Phil Gassin Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Hi Josko, sorry I won’t Be able to make it, I have been in Texas working from home since the COVID epidemic started and I will not be. ACL in New Hampshire until July. I hope that there will be other opportunities to go on a kayak trip with you this summer. Enjoy!
prudenceb Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Josko, I,d love to come back down to your neck of the woods (hole) when conditions are on the mellower side. Or a Naushon circumnav if it isn't a race. But not this wknd!
Ken Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 That's likely beyond my level but I'd really love to do a level 3 in that area sometime. -Ken
