EEL
After considerable research (unfortunately some on my research notes are not legible) I have found the perfect backband. It eliminates any back pain caused by a long day's paddle. Very easy to install and the price is reasonable.Ed Lawson Edited July 24, 2014 by EEL

flipe8
I find those back bands eliminate back pain, but increase headaches the next day!
Michael_Crouse
If you start putting bags of wine in your hydration pack be sure to put the cheese and crackers in your pfd instead of your day hatch.
EEL
Jason: It was fairly well secured and the bottom line was that in case of a wet exit there would be far greater problems than its loss to Davey Jone's locker with which to contend.flipe8: I take it you are among followers of William Blake as in "not enough or too much."Michael: So how to you keep the crackers nice and crisp when stored on the PFD?Ed Lawson
Suz
I bet Michael brings along a dehydrator for recrisping along with his food saver for portioning. PLUS a solar array to power the two electric devices.
Michael_Crouse
I never bought the JOOS charger, someday perhaps.Just bring zip-locks, lots of zip-locksWe used to bring cans of Guinness, it tastes fine when it's not ice cold and it's perfect ballast along the keel.
