  1. I'm sorry. I've had a family request for support and need to cancel kayaking tomorrow. Have fun without me!
  2. Thanks, Jim. I would appreciate using the helmet. 😃
  3. Interested. Does anyone a spare helmet they cab loan me? My bicycle helmet is a size small, if that helps.
  4. Thanks, David and all for an even more fun paddle than I'd hoped for. The conditions were good and the company great! I may have surprised more than just myself trying some of the milder rock features. 🫣 Thank you Jim and Dave for your encouragement and pointers! The surf practice was also fun, especially finding I actually do have a low brace, at least once in side surf conditions! 😃 It was a great day to reinforce skills and stretch boundaries! Some of the times on the legs of the trip will look slow for this group due to play time. I can't explain the 47' gain in elevation. Click on photos for full pictures.
  5. Hi Jim. Do you have any interest in consolidating our orders, since they're coming from the UK? I want to oder 2 Universal size. There us a price break at 5. I haven't done the price conversion yet.
  6. Hi Jim, I'm interested in the York trip. Thanks! Deb Walsh
  7. Hi Gary. So glad to see this post. For info, can you please comment on what makes this a level 3 trip, rather than a level 2? Thanks!
  8. I only just saw the post. I'll do my best to make it in the morning. I'll send message if I don't get enough sleep.
  9. Jim, I'd be interested if this is a relatively mellow (for the coast) level 2 trip with an opportunity to use my dry suit, but I'm definitely out for rock gardening and very sporty conditions. Feel free to exclude at tge outset if you feel the trip is best headed in that direction for other people's goals. Thanks.
  10. Bill, I am having the same problem, using my Android phone, if that makes any difference. I can't pist my pictures. LLovethe pictures that others have posted! Thanks, all, for sharing!
  11. Thank you for the reminder of where to find this! I read it a while back when I joined. Have a great day!
  12. Jim and Joe, I appreciate your offers. I'm sure I can learn from both of you. I host for other groups, but each one is different, and I haven't hosted ocean paddles. I humbly admit that my biggest challenge right now is effectively navigating this site. If you know how to message me directly, we can exchange contact info. Joe, I'm seeing clients Tuesday. I'd love to join you if something changes. I am doing Squam with David Weedbesday. I love to paddle there Thank you!
  13. I'd like to partner with someone else to host some WLPs as I become more familiar with NSPN's model and learn more navigation skills. I live in Rochester, NH and would be available to host from Rye,NH to Portland ME,with a particular interest in trips in Southern Maine. Please let me knowif you would be interested in partnering for a bit. Thanks!
  14. It was great seeing old friends and meeting new people at the party last night! What a nice to begin to wrap up the 2023 season. (Still hoping for a few more paddles.?) Thanks so much to Sue and the committee for coordinating everything!
  15. Barb, the foliage was beautiful last weekend. I can't recommend a particular place to stay, but there are many hotels, motels, and Air B&Bs in Meredith and surrounding towns. It's a great area to stay in.
  16. Hi David. I'm interested in paddling Squam if my client appointments don't change.
  17. The camping opportunity is very interesting. Count me in when it can be planned!
