Hi Sue, OOoo really? I'm getting a 2017 WS Tsunami 140. No rudder at the moment. I have a Werner Camano paddle. Stohlquist Cruiser PDF on the way. It looks like I would also need to get a hold of a spray skirt, backband so the spray skirt fits, compass, chart, and the right kind of clothing for immersion. I'm uncertain about what kind of clothing would be appropriate and would appreciate some tips about that. I should know soon if I can pick the kayak up Friday instead of Sunday. I did a salt marsh outing on the Cape a few weeks ago where we went out to a barrier island/sand bar and that was a blast. Only my second time in a kayak though. I don't have any training yet for if I flip, etc, but I'm a very good swimmer. I've been keeping my eye open for training sessions that I could go to.

This sounds so amazing I wish I wasn't basically new to kayaking and only picking up my first kayak this week! I hope to be able to go on trips like this soon.
