  1. One more thought pursuant to your earlier post.  How will we know what is on for each week without having to dig through the site.  That has always been an issue for me when it comes to Walden and to know who is coming on a week to week basis

  2. Dan,

This looks good. I was reluctant to give up  rolling but the sociableness you've put into every session makes it look like lots of fun.  I will plan to be there as much as possible - can't make May 7 and 14

  3. Looking to do a relaxed paddle to Malaga Island in Phippsburg Maine.

New paddlers welcome.  This is in generally in protected waters with some wave action, especially if there is a wind.  This is meant to be a slower paced paddle with time to explore. Malaga Island is a MHCT island with a very interesting history (https://mcht.org/preserves/malaga-island). Would like additional support from other experienced paddlers

     Date:  Friday July 5, 2019

    Location:Malaga Island in Phippsburg Maine

    Distance: 7-10 nautical miles

    Launch time: 10 am

    Return time: 4 pm

  4. Just wondering. I’ve heard it is going to be quite warm, especially compared to previous plunges.  Given warm air temps and cold water what does anyone recommend wearing under a dry suit. I’m concerned about being too hot if I dress warm enough to go in the water

i most likely will not be able to attend the pppo ?

  5. Name some paddling locations you expect to visit in 2019 or 2020 for which you don't already own a chart:

Really don’t know  but anywhere along the Maine coast and maybe RI

If you DO own some charts, how do prefer to get them? (buy online, marine supply store, print them myself...)

Online because the marine stores are very limited at this point

If you were to BUY a chart, would you choose a $25 waterproof chart or an identical $10 paper chart?

I have mostly waterproof but on occasion have photocopied and laminated paper charts

How much would you be willing to pay to BORROW a waterproof chart that you didn't have for the duration of an NSPN trip? ($0 is a valid answer)

I’m kind of a map geek and would want my own so I doubt I’d borrow but if I did $5 seems reasonable

Which of the following do you NOT currently own? waterproof chart case, deck compass, handheld compass, marine radio, tow belt, helmet

              Own them all
