We'll be there. No need to sign up...just come.

Today has shown what CAM should be.

Apart from where we go, what do you need to do with your kayak or equipment? My Delphin has a high, buoyant bow (to prevent pearling in surf), and it gets blown sideways in a headwind. It's not going. The Cetus LV bow bounces in wind chop, so I'll pack a bit of weight up there to smooth it out.
Is your skeg working?

Note that there are two Goat Islands; the one listed is upstream.

Come join us at Chebacco Lake Thursdays at 5pm. Practice strokes, rolls, rescues, falling out of your boat, or watching kingfishers. Rick Crangle and I will be there tomorrow to get the season started. Bring boat, paddle, skirt, PFD, and any new gear you want to test. Dress for immersion. The water's pretty warm by now.
We meet at the boat ramp at the south end of the lake, and hang out in the cove to the left of the ramp. You can either get off 128 at Pine st (exit 16) and head north on the dirt road, or find Chebacco road off Rt 22 in Essex and avoid the dirt. No entrance fees. No rangers to kick us out at the end of the evening, but the mosquitoes do the job just fine.

Oh, yeah. Sounds like a day for the ugly boat.

Rocks? Ice cream? Strudel? You bet.

John says there was a cancellation so there's one opening available.

Hmm... Full moon is Saturday evening, close to full Thursday.

I'll be there. Don't know launches, so I'll follow the herd.
Gary, for contact info you ask for a W phone. I don't think I have one of those. Hope it's not a problem for you. It certainly isn't for me.

Scheduled for April 24 1-5 PM after the New to Sea Kayaking Workshop. It's posted in the Trips and Events forum.

Found my ears. I'll be there.

Yes, RSVP seems to have been fixed soon after I posted. Either that, or I figured it out...
-
I'm going. There's still space in almost all of the classes. Water's only in the 60s, though...
-
There doesn't seem to be a way to RSVP to this event, although it is possible for some other events. Perhaps RSVP has to be enabled when the event is posted?

Completing payment from Orders tab does now go to PayPal and payment is processed properly.

Yes, mid-September was the last.

Kittery Trading Post keeps them on the counter upstairs.

Sounds like a fine way to spend a day. I'll be there.

You'd never guess from the pictures, but I was smiling the whole weekend. Thanks everybody for the great company.

Is the noise all the time or just when the sunroof is open. Fore-aft distance from bar to sunroof makes a big difference.
Yakima makes a Windjammer. It's a snap-on aero fairing for a round bar. Cheap enough, but only 8.5" long. No experience here.

I haven't tried it with a full reservoir. Don't own the Sea Wolf yet...I'm still looking for a PFD that doesn't need a silly add-on for hydration and is perfect in every other way. It's the best I've seen so far.

I'll be there.

Rats, Pru, you're right. I thought it was a week later. I'll be gone too. I don't even know what day of the week it is any more.
