Great trip report and photos! Thanks Peter ( and Pru for your wonderful photos!). It was a wonderful weekend.
One correction - Friday, Day 1 group 2 went around the Porcipines and also Ironbound where we encountered some big slow swells (several sets of 4-5 feet swells) along with some lively conditions.
Very funny photo...the deadpan expressions next to Peters is a riot!

Sounds like it was a great way to spend a hot summer day! Nice trip report! Great pictures too!

Thanks Pru for your photos and great trip report. It was a wonderful weekend with wonderful friends. Stonington and Saddleback Island have become my favorite place to paddle! I can't wait until next year!
-
I won't be there as I'm heading up to Saddleback really early tomorrow. I think a few people last week said they'd be there but I don't know given the weather.
-
I'll be there too, but a little late due to work. Boat is on my car

I think I will opt out of tomorrow's CAM session. I was on the fence for this weekend to begin with as I've been really busy. Have fun and stay safe. It does look like there are lots of options. I hope to see you all on the water soon.

I'll be there with an extra nylon spray skirt and my boat.

Oh, maybe that is mine! I'm having HHS check. I think I could have brought it in to the wilderness first aid course. I'll check.
Thanks Cathy

Anyone find a red helmet at a Haverhill pool session? I think I left mine there. It's the last time I've seen it and I can't find it!
Thanks,

It's time for the Kittery Boat Show again! NSPN members volunteer to help staff the MITA booth at the boat show each year. It's a great opportunity to support MITA and get yourself to the boat show. Yes, it was a great workshop. If I only retain a small portion of it all, it was really worth it and if I keep attending, more will sink in! Thank you again John Huth!
It was great to see people too!

I'll bring a main veggie dish - probably gypsy soup/stew with bread
Janice
PS don't forget musical instruments if you have one!

We will be posting here by 9:15 AM Saturday if the pool session will be canceled due to weather. Please check so you can plan accordingly!
In the future we will also post by 9:15 AM on the day of the pool session if the pool session is cancelled.
Thanks!

We hope to have a big turn out for our Cabin Fever Winter Break Out Party on January 30th at the Gould Barn. To insure that we don't end up with dozens of delicious cookies and no main meals, please post here what you are planning to bring - either specifically or a category (ie vegetarian main dish). We are a very talented group of paddlers who like to eat well with lots of great cooks among us! If cooking isn't your thing or you have no time, store bought is also great - just come.
This year we will not be having the trivia contest but instead hope to have music as our entertainment. Please bring whatever musical instruments you enjoy playing or sit back and enjoy others playing.
And...the raffle is shaping up nicely!
See you there!

It's winter in New England and there is always the possibility of a snowstorm. Haverhill HS will let us know by 9:00 AM if a pool session will be canceled due to inclement weather and we will post it here as soon as we hear.
Thanks,
Janice
