I can't do Saturday, but I busted the seat in my boat and might not make Friday either. Pick whichever days works for the most others.

You all made the right decision! When I got to the park at 5, it was closed. For me, it was only the length of the bumpy driveway out of my way to find out.

My local weather expert says it looks as though it's probably safe -- some showers moving west to east but they aren't generating any electric activity. I'll swing by and see if anyone else is there about 5 (I have to pass there on my way home anyway).

The hail hitting my window has convinced me that it's probably best to stay inside. BUT, I have my boat and I have to drive past WP on my way home, so I'll double check at the last minute. Les, I was there swimming last night but didn't see you. It sure was refreshing!

Hi, I've never been to either place, so either would be great. Well, except that Cape Porpoise is almost 2 hours drive for me, making an 8:30 launch sounds very early. Looking forward to whatever you decide! --Joyce

If no one else has contacted you, it'd be more fun to go together. I'm in Westford. Would it make sense for me to come to you with the boat on my car, then transfer it to yours for the trip? If that's not more trouble than it's worth, PM me and we can make arrangements. But if you hear from anyone would really needs a ride, I can find it on my own.
