  1. Doug, Can you please confirm the meeting spot, is it Lanes Cove with directions as noted on the NSPN website? I am not familiar with the area, and want to be sure I get there on time so we can have a great day paddling . Thanks, Bob
  2. Doug, I will be joining you, sounds like a good trip, I have never paddled up there. See you in the morning. Bob
  3. Al, I would like to join you. Was disappointed in the weather last week, so dying to get out. Bob
  4. I would like to join you on this paddle. Bob K.
  5. I am going to bail on you guys, cannot get excited about paddling in the cold rain. Hope to catch up with your group sometime soon. Bob K.
  6. I would like to join you on this paddle, weather pending. See you tomorrow. Bob K.
  7. Doug, It looks like Cape Neddick Campground is at a slightly different spot than Shore Road, where the marker is on the map. I cannot get this thing to give me directions, although I can probably figure it out. Would you mind sharing your Cell number, in case I get a little lost. Also, if you have an exact street address that would be helpful, then I can mapquest it. Thanks, Bob
  8. Can you clarify exactly where the meeting point is, perhaps with directions or a mapquest/google maps where I can get directions? Also, please confirm the launch time is still 11 AM. I assume that means everyone will be arriving around 10:30? Bob
  9. Kevin, I am interested. No earlier than 10 AM. Let me know what you come up with. Bob
  10. I would like to join you on this trip. Thanks, Bob K.
  11. Hi All, I have some time off the end of August, and am looking to do a led kayak trip, preferably somewhere in New England, was thinking possibly Maine. I do not want to go alone, and I have done Mountain bike trips where the guides carry all the food/water, do all the cooking, the guests just ride and enjoy. I was wondering if there were similar opportunities in kayaking. What I am looking for is 3 days of kayaking, two nights of camping. Does anyone know of any places that offer such trips that you might recommend? Again, I was thinking the Maine coast, but open to other areas too. Thanks, Bob
  12. I would be interested in going Saturday (7/17). I cannot make it on Sunday. Let me know what day you decide. Bob
  13. Nice Picture, Nice Trip report, and a great day on Boston Harbor. Looking forward to paddling with you all some more. Bob
  14. I would like to join you. My time is flexible, whatever you think will make the trip the best. Bob K.
  15. Turns out I cannot make it. Enjoy the day.
  16. Doug, I may possibly be interested. Where is the meeting spot, I do not see directions under the Put-In locations? Bob
  17. Too much for me this early in the season. I cannot make it Saturday, will catch up with you another time. Have a great trip. Bob
  18. I would be interested in joining you Friday. Bob K.
  19. Bill, With the threat of T-storms, I may opt for the L2 trip, which goes closer to shore. I will make the final call in the morning, but just wanted to let you know I may not be there. Bob K
  20. Rob, I am currently signed up for the L3 trip, but getting a bit concerned about being that far off shore if there are T-storms, so I may join you. Bob K.
  21. One more question. I have a shortie wetsuit, no drysuit. I have plenty of warm, long sleeve kayaking tops. Do you see any concern with not having a drysuit?
  22. Hi, I would like to join you also, weather pending. My abilities are the same as Kevin said; I am fine with the distance, but if the surf gets rough I will drop down to the level 2+ trip. Thanks, Bob K.
  23. David, Thanks for the tip. After I moved last year, I had thrown away the farmer john wetsuit, which leads me only with a shortie. That said, I do not think it is a good idea that I join you on Sunday. I hope you have a wonderful trip, and maybe next time when the water is warmer I will join you. Bob K
  24. Les, I am very interested. One question about your comment "This trip requires dress for immersion clothing". I have a shortie wetsuit, a "farmer John" wetsuit which I hate to wear, and other various kayak clothing. Will the shortie wetsuit be enough to meet what you said? Please explain. If I can meet the dress code, I would like to go for the full circumnavigation. Bob K.
