Hi All
I am not sure how to check if it is open.
I need to check with another paddler to see what alternatives are reasonable.
If we consider outer islands I would prefer launching out of Houghs neck marina. Windmill point is a long loop for me. I can paddle it faster than drive it .

Minot is good as is any part of Boston harbor. Can only do Saturday.
A good route is Cohassett to Scituate-North river and back with a stop at Minot light but it is lengthy 16 miles. could do a one way-two car (6 miles) trip if preferred.

There are plenty of more Sheltered routes in Boston Harbor starting from points that allow you to move from sheltered to more open waters so you can adjust depending on skill and conditions .
The Malibu beach launch, the Houghs neck public ramp launch, Hingham harbor. City Point near pleasure bay.
I would like to get on the water Sunday!

Count me in.
One of my favorite routes.Especially before the greenheads and boaters are in season. Fox Creek even two hours after high tide is very passable.
Finding the entrance from Essex bay is the trick!
