spider
Rode the tide in and out of Exeter NH down to Great Bay and over to Moody Point the other day (Sat) No snow or ice to speak of just an occasional small piece. I was tempted to paddle some of the ponds and lakes in the high water anybody know how things are looking inland ? Lake Massabesic or Squam ..some of the others ? EEL
There is some open water on Winnisquam and ice has the look of going soon. The big lake was still solid as of last week. I'm sure Squam is solid too. Interesting the eagles on Squam are already on the nest with eggs to to keep warm. A few eagles wintered over this year in the area. Won't be long, but the water will be colder than the ocean for awhile after ice out.A page to check out status.http://www.rattlesnakecam.com/iceout.htmEd Lawson Edited April 1, 2013 by EEL
eidsvolling
I started poking around the other day for NH webcams as an aid on this subject.
