Two questions re: the skills session.

1. I'm a L2 paddler. Any problems joining in the fun? I don't want to slow down the group because I'm still working on bracing, re-entries, etc.

2. Do we need helmets to protect in my case, my bald head?

Hi Rich,

Everyone is welcome to join in. you'll need a pfd and appropriate dress....the water is warming up (relatively speaking) so even a farmer john should be fine. If you're planning on going out beyond the river mouth you'll need a sea kayak with bulkheads. A helmet is always a good idea around rocks and surf. Look forward to seeing you sometime soon.
