More eye candy of WW folks in tide races.

Sort of makes sea kayaking look dull in comparison. Which is fine by me.

Go to the NH WW School and you too can.....nevermind.

But it is a great learning experience with great people.

Oops, I guess I should have viewed all of Ed's links before posting. I saw the 1st one and figured I would reply with the video from last year.

Yikes. A textbook case of edging the wrong way in current.

Exactly. It appeared to me the tug was "tripped" when it got in a different current from the barge.

Everyone has to read the water, big and small.

Alas you can have both. How many have been out in the surf to look behind you and see a seal cheking you out or following you? Last season down the deerfield, as my friend was surfing a section called left turn, a black bear appeared to the right bank of the river where they watched each other for a bit. It does not get better than that.

I have paddled very close to basking sharks but never a whale. I look forward to that experience.
