put -ins?

Here's a Googlism to find anything on NSPN. By example...

Google: marblehead site:nspn.org

or

Google: marblehead put-ins site:nspn.org

See... add that qualifier and you'll search only NSPN, including the message board. It works for anything, not just put-ins.

If you want to omit the message board...

Google: marblehead site:nspn.org -dcboard

And if you want only the message board...

Google: marblehead site:nspn.org dcboard

We've been discussing this recently in the Web Committee. Hopefully there will soon be a special search page on NSPN to accomplish all or part of this without having to remember the specific incantations.

Meanwhile, search away.

Give someone a fish... teach them to fish...

Here it is, real simple...

Add "site:www.nspn.org" to any Google Search and you will be searching just NSPN, not the whole web. Technical savvy required? Not too much. Try it.

By the way, this works for any web site, not just NSPN. For example, wanna see what the NY Times has to say about kayaks...

Google: kayak site:www.nytimes.com

Happy fishing!
