heading off to spain soon and would like to get some paddling in either near barcelona or valencia. anybody have any experience in that area of the world? would love to hear what y'all have to say on the matter. thanks a bunch!

Was in Catalonia this past May... a fantastic place to paddle. We rented boats from this place :

www.kayakingcostabrava.com. We were able to rent Valley sea kayaks. Lead instructor "Tony" there is BCU 5*. Their website offers tours and paddling suggestions and they're very helpful in person and on the phone as well.

Mountains, clean water, Roman ruins and friendly people... have a great time.
