BOB L
Does anyone know how far off from Hampton beach (or any other known tide) the tide is at the Exeter town boat ramp? I'm trying to figure out what the ramp would be like on Aug 14 around 15:30 and 19:00. Bob L

Dover PT high tide is about an hour after Portsmouth. Dover landing is after Dover pt. Just get the tables that show the bay and it should show these areas.. I would bet that the high at the ramp is two hours past Portsmouth+/- wag, no time to look it up...

High tide in Exeter on the 14 of August should be approx 8:23 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Pretty much 15:30 should be the low water/slack 19:00 there should be lots of water at the ramp
BOB L
Thank you very much, charts I was using did not even have the points in great bay listed. Looks like it is a slog throught the mud to get on the water but nice on return. Bob l
spider
Pretty sure Exeter Boat launch is an all tide launch as is Chapmans Landing. Sandy Point Discovery Center and Adams Point launch site are tide dependent.

tallpriscilla
I was told that Exeter Town Landing on the Squamscott R. was about 1 1/2 hours later than the Squamscott Railroad Bridge which is on the Main/NH tide charts. I've not had any tide problems paddling - with or against, but the mud does smell a lot at lower tides.
