I found its discussion on the formation and life cycle of low pressure systems and the related fronts better or at least more clear than I have read elsewhere. Although published in the UK, the text has an emphasis on weather systems over the US and over US waters. Text is concise and clear with numerous illustrations. Its prediction hints and photos are well worth a careful review.
