I would hope we could be joined on the paddle by someone who is involved with the Upper Mystic renovation who could act as an environmental/social issues tour guide. Know the right person?

The Mystic River Watershed Association sponsors the Herring Run every year where kayaks start at the Blessing of the Bay Site, go up the lower lake, portage around the dam, paddle the upper lake and then back to finish the race at BOB. If there is not a member of that organization on this list, then I am sure one could be recruited from mysticriver.org. Great idea to include that info on the paddle!!
