jnadler
Well, this is a south shore question but hopefully ok to post here. From over here in NY, we've done a day trip of the islands and parked at Hingham. For a hopeful upcoming desired camping trip, not sure if leaving a car overnight is safe. I believe a second option is to drive out to Hull and launch from Windmill Point. Any suggestions for safe parking are welcome, even if paying a business for safe parking. Thank you. hopefloats
Does this recent thread help at all? http://www.nspn.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=4855
cgr
I believe that people who moor their boats at Hingham will park overnight; at least in another section of the lot. You might want to call the Hingham Harbormaster or Hingham PD to confirm if parking is ok overnight. I am there frequently and can't recall any signs against overnight parking. bob budd
I've been on a trip from Hingham with several others and we all returned to our vehicles with no incident.
Michael_Crouse
I've left my car parked several times in Hingham overnight and I've never had any problems. Just don't launch at low tide in Hingham, it's a thick black muddy goo that will steal your booties.
