  1. I have no idea what type of neck I have! Size 15 32-33 shirt and would be getting the bpod M
  2. stetching neoprene? Are you taling the b-pod with neo gasket or the true drysuit g-pod which has a latex gasket?
  3. Does anyone happen to own this suit, with the neoprene neck gasket? Just like Kokatat's Supernova, the bPod is called a semi-drysuit (vs. their gPod). Baed on a few reviews I could find plus a dealer anxious to sell me one, it seems the Stohlquist neck design keeps water out better than the Supernova and these folks claim it really functions as a drysuit. I already own the Kokatat Supernova, which for me allows lots of water in during a roll. With great sales prices out there (discontinued perhaps), I would get the bPod if it functioned like a drysuit vs my Supernova. But if neo is neo and latex at neck is truly required, I'd look at either a Stolquist gPod or Kokatat drysuits. I should mention that my cold water paddling is on larger lakes and rivers in the northeast and not surf or whitewater. Thank you.
  4. It is probably a difficult boat model to find in stock, but the boat I just got might be the perfect choice for your size and want list . . .the Valley Aquanaut LV. I'm a guy, but about the same dimensions, and there is deifnitely adequate cockpit room. This boat is certainly sleeker and faster than the Avocet but at 17-1 instead of 17-7 of the regular Aquanaut, more manueverable and turns fine. It probably shares the regular Aquanaut's traits of handling messy conditions fine, faster than an Explorer, and offers the same Valley quality you are used to. A Valley dealer should be able to order one for you. For me, this one won out over the Tempest, Explorer, Chatham, and Force series.
  5. fyi . . after trying numerous ones, I got the Kokatat Msfit. Most comfy off water, of those tried.
  6. If you've got a production kayak with keyhole cockpit, and are working on perfecting balance braces and layed back rolls on a low rear deck . . . are there any specific brand/model PFDs to suggest that are known for offering more motion comfort?
  7. Well, this is a south shore question but hopefully ok to post here. From over here in NY, we've done a day trip of the islands and parked at Hingham. For a hopeful upcoming desired camping trip, not sure if leaving a car overnight is safe. I believe a second option is to drive out to Hull and launch from Windmill Point. Any suggestions for safe parking are welcome, even if paying a business for safe parking. Thank you.
