I have no personal knowledge of Point 65 kayaks. They are not common in US due to a scarcity of dealers, but they have a good reputation and reviews I have seen have been positive. That model is HUGE, but maybe that is what you want/need.

Ray Wirth in Belfast Me of Water Walker is a dealer and he would be totally straight with you about these boats. Worth a call for sure.

I am looking forward to the Point 65 Whiskey which is a smallish boat designed by Nigel Foster they will be importing in 2008. Size wise b looks to beb etween a Legend and Rumou. It might be a great boat for day weekend stuff.
