Michael_B Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Looks as though the weather is finally going to co-operate and let us get our boats wet. This will be a relaxed, level 3, getting back on the water paddle along the coast of Buzzards Bay. The predicted air temp is near 50 degrees with 10 to 15mph wind, seas less than one foot but the water temp is 37 degrees so drysuits and hoods are an absolute necessity. Put in is at 10:00am at Kingman Marine in Bourne. Coming from the north, take Rt 3 across the Sagamore Bridge. Take Exit 1 after crossing the bridge and turn left onto Rt 6W at the bottom of the off ramp. Follow this road until you come to a rotary. Take the 2nd exit from the rotary which is Rt 28 South, heading toward Falmouth. Follow Rt 28 for 3.3 miles to Barlows Landing Road (signed for Pocasset and Wings Neck). At 1.7 miles you'll come to Shore Road. Turn left. Go one mile to the Entrance to Kingman Marine....the sign says MARINE CENTER....turn right and you're there. PPPO to be arranged. Quote
