GOMOOS now provides a service by which you can send a text message from your phone and receive a text message back giving you the latest data from any of the GOMOOS and related NOAA buoys. The address is http://www.gomoos.org and I beleive one can hear recorded info as well by following instructions under "dial-a-buoy" tab.
