Jim Snyder
I am starting a fresh thread for this trip now that the date has been established so people following will be notified. Early forecasting looks mild, we will be launching from West Beach on the last day of non resident availability. The leadup planning is here: Contact me by any means (I even answer my phone) If you'd like to come and I'll start a group signup and message. Ricardo Caivano
I paddled the other day from Winter Island to Little Misery and the blue barrel is still there, standing strong (and full of trash). Enjoy the trip! should be fun. I will be out of town until June 12 more or less.

Sue H.
Hey Folks, Have you considered placing the barrel on a sit-on-top kayak, a plastic kayak or an oversized paddle board rather than towing it ? Good Luck, Sue
Shari G
There is an annual Misery Island clean- up. I think that Salem Sound coast watch organizes it with a motor boat and crew.

I have some contacts at Coastwatch and am curious to see if Misery will be on their list of locations this year. Will report back with what I can find out.
