  5. I'll be there:) Jeff is bringing me a boat. See you at the parking lot on the left just past the 1A bridge. Sue PS. Jim are you going to be sculpting a castle?
  6. I'm adjusting fron L3 to L1 after paddling on Wednesday on the ocean for the first time this year. It was fun but I've forgotten a lot since last summer and need to get in better shape. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Happy to sightsee or practice. Sue PS Why is it called Riverhead? It is the end of Marblehead harbor right?
  7. I'm going!! Thank you Bob and Jim!! See you tomorrow Sue
  8. Does anyone have a kayak I could use for the solstice paddle? I would love to go.
  9. Hi Rob I can no longer message or email you on the site. Or reply to trips. Buy I can reply here so hope you will get it. I think maybe it is because my check is in the post office awaiting foot and hand processes? If you can't email me, you can text 978-533-9335. Thank you for all your work on the site and helping members like me. Sue
  10. It looks like a wonderful trip! I am enjoying your descriptions and hope to go on the Wenesday trips soon. Sue
  11. Looks good Dan! Marblehead, I have a chart from last June , not sure if that is ok Hopefully solstice, not Jewell Yes dinner, in or out
  12. Thank you Joe and John I had looked at wiki briefly but didn't see the lower tangent and still couldn't figure out what the 22Β° refered too. I'll look again at the wikis since I'm confusing myself looking more at the picture. Why is the rim dark? Does 22Β° have something to do with hexagon angles? Guess I need to look up scattering angles and angles of refraction too. Anyway it really is a great picture, both for showing the scientific natural phenomena and artistically. It looks like Stonehenge in the foreground; maybe Stonehenge was built to see the halos Have a great day and don't drop anything Joe
  13. Hi Joe That is so cool! Really is Amazing! Nice you protected your camera but I'm wondering how did you not hurt your eyes? Also what does the 22Β°refer to? Also is there, can there be, a lower tangent arc? If so , could have halos in every dimension:) 3D Halo
