Hi, I signed up for this trip but like to make sure it is not above my ocean paddling skills. Besides lots of rescue practice sessions and the Chebacco lake sessions I went once around Misery island last year and went on some nice paddling trips at Mount Desert Island recently. However, the weather was always very mild. No wind, no waves. How many miles are we going to paddle? Best regards Rainer

Hi, Just in case someone needs lodging for the retreat. I booked a cottage at the Rose Eden Cottages from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th of September. The cottage #2 has two separate bedrooms. I think the kitchen and dining area are between the bedrooms. Total cost for three nights is $487. I am open to sharing the cottage if anybody is interested. Hi, I need a new compass for my P&H Virgo to make my deck less cluttered. Any recommendation for a compass that fit into the recess provided on the Kayak? Is the 70P or 85P or 100P better? Would they all fit? It appears the 85P and 100P are larger? Does it matter where I purchase it? Kayak Academy asks for $130, Amazon for $117 (Silva) for the the 70P. Thanks Rainer
