Very cool. Thanks for sharing this Joe.

This sounds like it could be a good time! Thank you Sue and board.

Do we get a refund?
-
This sounds great Joe. Please add me to the guest list.

Count in Doug Cooke and Ken Warner

I should add to my note. You can sleep in the bunkroom on the second floor or tent outside on the grounds. Fifteen people is manageable but folks should carpool as there can be cars from people camping on Beal island at the site.

I've been told Knubble Bay reservations will be accepted starting January 26th. It's slightly cheaper to have an AMC member make the reservation. I'm going to try to reserve KBC for the 8/26-8/28 weekend. If someone else decides to go after 5/13 for an early-season trip or some alternate date, please let me know.
A bunch of you expressed interest above "if the timing works". The timing has now been proposed. I'll be fronting $600 to get the 8/26-8/28 reservation, so hearing a few more "yeah, I'm probably in for that weekend" before Thursday would be nice. Non-binding until the reservation is confirmed, details are fleshed out, and money is exchanged, but you'll have first dibs on a spot.
Dan, I am newly on the AMC-KBC Committee and I am pretty sure you can make a reservation now. There was a KBC committee member post stating reservations had been made for the Lobster Weekend they have. Bottom line don't wait, the weekends fill up fast and reservations are rebounding from the COVID period. It is a very nice location and the SunShower stall will make your day. The stairs to the beach have just been rebuilt and widened to 48" making them safer. There is a handrail on one side but a ramp has not been added. I think it will make a great club activity location.

I am happy to test and attend as well. I will post what I am bringing once I have a chance to look into it.

Thank you Rob for your service to the club, and some of the best training experiences of my paddling life!
-
Happy Holidays All!! Thank you Gary.

Watch Facebook Market Place too. There is a lot of sleaze on there.

I would like to brush up on my roll. Is anyone available for one or two sessions to support that request?

Great! I’m looking forward to working on my role.

I would love a “get your roll back” session. That said I can’t make it his week but could the following week.

Thank you Janet for organizing such a fun paddle in my own backyard ("Light dawns on Marblehead"). There is no reason additional Ipswich paddles can not be had.
There is a put-in at Eagle Hill Landing and then you can park your car on Jefferies' Neck Road next to the high tide zone. A full description of how to do this is on Paddling.com > Go Paddling > Paddling Map. There is not a residents only requirement for this stretch of road. The trick is to plan your return to the car at high tide because you can paddle right up to it or visa versa. Either way you have a short walk to the car on one end or the other but it's not bad. Anyone can use the gravel ramp at Eagle Hill Landing, you just can't park there.

Sorry to hear that Beth. Strong Wishes for a quick return to health!

Rob,
I like it so please count me in for the April 14th Zoom. BTW, nice job tonight!

This is pretty interesting evolution of those islands. It would be great if an area was open for no impact camping.
-
Count me in too!!! I can't wait to see you all again.

Count me in for Friday at 10 AM BIB
