  1. Lake Massabesic (Auburn NH) paddle on Friday, November 3, 2023.

Looking to paddle locally, Friday, November 3rd, ahead of some weekend business travel.

Lake Massabesic, the water supply for Manchester, is a 2560 acre lake with 32 miles of shoreline.

The lake is nestled in the southeast corner of the intersection of 93N and 101W in Manchester, NH. It's about an hour drive from Boston.

It's a scenic paddle with very few homes on the lake.

  4. Awestruck doesn't do my reaction to this report justice!

Thanks for taking what I can only imagine as the painstaking effort to capture this extraordinary adventure... and sharing it.

It's a poignant reminder that our sport goes way beyond planting a paddle in the water to include history, culture, skill development, weather impacts and mitigation, decision-making, nail-biting experience, good friends and much more.
