I'm paddling to Cushing Island this weekend and would like to launch from South Portland. Any suggestions for a launch site and legal place to park overnight?

Anybody interested in paddling on the North Shore this weekend? I've got a new boat that's itchin' to git out on the water.

Low tides are mid-day, so a 9ish launch seems logical.

I'd like to spend some time practicing rolls and rescues in my new boat, otherwise no particular agenda in mind.

I enjoyed the trip last year and would like to go again.

Wondering if there are any plans afoot so I can hold open my calendar.
