  1. It's been a few years but at Somes Sound campground there were two camp sites, one right on the water next to the launch and another about 50 feet away that I have used many times. I expect you will have to call and reserve if you want one of those. Kent
  2. The one at the quarry is called Somes Sound Campground. It's hard to get down to the water at this campground unless you just going down with a car or truck. A Very windy switch back road, but otherwise a nice campground. Mount Desert Island campground at the North end of the sound is my favorite. Kent
  3. Hi Al, Try looking at Brian Nystroms web site. I believe he has some good instructions on repair of glass/gel coat. It's not hard to do. Kent
  4. Hi Karen, Don't plan to do a lot of rolling as the neck seal will leak. I had one with a neo gasket and returned it for a latex seal shortie. I use the shortie under a tuiliq right through most of the winter months coupled with a pair of gortex bibs. It will be enough for the occasional dunking but if you spend a while doing a bunch of rolls you will get wet. If you really want to spend a lot of time getting wet spend the bucks for a good dry suit or dry top combo. Kent
  5. Hi Kevin, I have installed quite a few foam seats. I would recommend 3M spray on contact cement. If I remember correctly it says Super 77 on the can. GOOD STUFF! I would not recommend velcro. It doesn't stick to minicell very long before the water causes it to get soggy and peel right off. As far as making it fit tight. My last seat back made of minicell not glued in, blew off on the highway as well as the cockpit cover I thought would hold everything in. Make it fit tight play with it to get it in the right position then glue it in. Kent
  6. The only thing else I can add is to treat the zippers with a zipper lube for dry zippers usually a bees wax. Kent
