Lbeale Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 The NYTimes Science section today (7/7/05) has an informative article on rip currents and swimming--what to do, where to swim, and what not to do if you get caught swimming in a rip current--Of note, a 100 panicked swimmers a year in the US are pulled to their deaths by a rip current.
