I have not participated, but did roll my kayak twice in 40 degree water earlier in January and it took me 3 tries to come up on the second one - I think we should have a cold-water rolling fundraiser - some good should come of such craziness.

Robert's neice did something similar this weekend and they rasied (not quite as much) $50,000 for Alzheimers.
