markstephens Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Some of us like to go play in the tidal rip at Little Harbor in Cohasset in our sea kayaks, but there is an even better tidal rip in Cohasset Harbor at the mouth of the Gulf River that has been a perennial favorite of whitewater paddlers. http://image46.webshots.com/46/1/35/34/341...34igLjol_ph.jpg While the rip at Little Harbor starts about an hour after Boston High Tide, the rip in Cohasset Harbor starts three hours before high, so it is possible to hit both of these play spots on the same day, same tide. I posted some pictures and description of the Cohasset Harbor rip here: http://community.webshots.com/album/341199026ZhlnJc Quote
